Volunteers are the helping hands that make the event run smoothly, contributing their time as Greeters, Registration volunteers, Rest Stop help and many more! Volunteers are the arms and legs of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Without volunteers, the Society would not be the organization it is today -- funding more multiple sclerosis research, offering more services for people with multiple sclerosis, and providing more professional education programs than any other multiple sclerosis organization in the world. Your helping hands are greatly appreciated and needed to create a successful Bike MS event. We already appreciate your generous donation of time more than you can imagine, but sometimes volunteers want to take additional steps in the fight against multiple sclerosis.
While not required, volunteers often want to do more than help at the event or work on a planning committee -- they want to raise money to help end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. If that's what you want to do -- we are making it easy for you once you register as a volunteer and when you fundraise as a volunteer, you will be eligible to win the same great prizes available to cyclists!
You can login to your Participant Center with the username and password you created when you registered. Create your own personal web page with photos and your story about your connection to multiple sclerosis and Bike MS. You can also send emails to family and friends asking them to donate or volunteer with you, send thank you notes, track your fundraising progress and enter gifts received offline. If you would like addition fundraising materials or ideas, please contact Liz at 248-351-2190 ext. 210.
Take another step closer to finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and become a fundraising volunteer today!
