Earning a prize has never been easier! Simply follow these three steps:

You’ll be qualified to receive your choice of any single item offered within your respective prize level. Based on the amount of pledges we receive from you by the deadline, we’ll send you a gift certificate to be used when placing your order online. It’s that simple! If you run into any problems along the way, or don’t have access to a computer, just call Tammy Willis at 1-517-646-0807, and we’ll take care of everything for you.
You may also choose to become a member of our 2009 Mission First Club by waiving your prize selection to designate your pledges to our mission of creating a world free of multiple sclerosis. Your pledge money will be used for funding national research and local programming for the over 18,000 Michigan residents who are affected with MS.
Mission First Club -When you join the Mission First Club you are waiving your prize selection to designate your pledges to our mission of ending the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. Your pledge money will be used for funding national research and local programming for the over 18,000 Michigan residents who are affected with MS.
In 2008 73% of the riders that qualified to receive a prize generously donated the cost back to the Michigan Chapter representing a savings of more than $21,000! We would like to extend our sincere thanks to these 357 members of the 2008 Mission First Club.
Above Average - Raise more than $721 and you will be ABOVE AVERAGE. The National BIKE MS pledge average is $721 and we know our cyclists are not satisfied with AVERAGE. So make that extra ask or send out an additional email so you can be ABOVE AVERAGE!
Veteran Riders - Participants who have ridden for a minimum of 5 years will automatically be enrolled in this club and have the opportunity to purchase a custom designed jersey.
Pledge Minimum
Bike MS is an important fundraising event for the Michigan Chapter, National MS Society. All riders will be required to submit donations totaling at least $250, in addition to the Bike MS registration fee.

Matching Gifts. You can add hundreds of dollars to your fundraising total by applying for matching gifts with your employer and having your donors apply for matching gifts with their employers!
Many companies have Matching Gift programs to maximize their financial contributions to non-profit organizations…they want to give you this money! This means that they will match their employees’ donation. Check for company involvement at http://www.matchinggifts.com/ .
Matching gift programs vary with each company, so you will need to check with your Human Resources department to find out the details and follow the necessary procedures.
Ask your donors to contact their HR department to learn about their company’s matching gifts policies and procedures. You can send them an email from your Participant Center.
Participating companies can send the matching gift paperwork and confirmation of the donation to:

Our staff will send confirmation to the company. Upon receipt of the matching gift we will credit your Walk MS fundraising account with the funds.
Bike MS Pin Up Sales Sell these great fundraising pieces at your work or local stores for $1, $5, $10 or any donation amount you prefer. In turn, give your donor a bike print to hang in their work space, window, cafeteria; anywhere to increase awareness for multiple sclerosis! Bands of Hope
Show your dedication to the cause and wear your hope for a cure for MS on your wrist! The MS Band of Hope orange bracelet will create awareness and support of the cause wherever you go. MS Bands of Hope are available for purchase for $1 each plus shipping, you may then may give our in return for donations to your Bike MS pledges. Fundraising Made Easy
Through our website, e-mail newsletters, and the Event Manual, we provide you with an array of ideas, tips and tools to make your fundraising easy and successful. Your personal website allows you to customize your reason for riding through stories and photos. Log into your Participant Center. You can also send and track e-mails with direct links so your supporters can make a donation to your effort, online.

Bike MS Vinyl Stickers
These are durable, cut vinyl decals, that you normally see on the back windows of cars. They are roughly 6" x 6 and the default color is white; however, if you would like a different color, include that with your ordering instructions.
Each sticker is sold to you at cost, $2.00 and you may in turn sell the stickers for as much as you'd like.

Please include the quantity (min. order of 20), color, sticker #, contact name, phone number, and delivery address. Credit/debit card payment can be taken over the phone. For check/money orders: Make them payable to GS Printers: 17 Washington St. 2nd Floor, Monroe, MI 48161. Order will not be shipped until payment is received. Once receiving your payment your order will be shipped within 2 business days. The stickers are available through September 2009.
