Why We Ride
Bike MS is a fantastic weekend of fun, but the main purpose of the event is to raise funds and awareness in support of ground breaking research and life-changing programs for more than 18,000 individuals living with MS in Michigan. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funding supports scientific research to develop improved treatments and ultimately, a cure for multiple sclerosis. Did you know?
- Michigan has one of the highest prevalence rates of MS in the country.
- Children as young as two years-old are being diagnosed with MS.
- People living with MS face an uncertain future because they cannot predict the timing, severity, or nature of their symptoms.
